Screen printing : 100 This is a beginner workshop. You will learn the basics of
screen printing, and learn to use a paper stencil.. very easy.. No drawing skills required.
The Screen Printing techniques taught are easily used in your own home or studio space.
No major equipment is needed for the very simple diverse method of creating new and
exciting art cloth. or printing 1 & 2 color garments.
4 hour workshop. All supplies provided. You will need to bring some inexpensive
fabric, like muslin.
Evening classes from 6-10:00 . Saturdays. 10 -2:00

Layout and Repeat of a design 102 This workshop is full 2 days. You will learn how to
plan, lay out and print a repeat design on to fabrics. The use of a paper stencil will
be used as the printing method. You will be amazed at how much can be done this way.
This workshop includes planning and measuring and is more for the person who is
more serious about wanting to print their own fabrics. All supplies included.
Each workshop is limited to 6 students.

Basic dyeing and discharging 103 Want to learn how easy it is to dye your own fabrics??
This workshop offers information about the different dyes and methods used. Hands on
tub dyeing and over dyeing. You will then learn how to discharge a design out of the fabric
You just dyed.....100% cotton fabric will be used.
Each workshop is limited to 6 students.

Shibori dyeing. 104 This workshop teaches the technique of folding and manipulating
fabrics , then dyeing and discharging color out of your fabric to create a wonderful unique
look. 100% cotton fabrics,

Batik 105 This technique of creating design and color on fabrics is with the use of
wax and dyeing. In addition to regular Batik, I teach a fun method I call cheat Batik.
You will learn to shorten the process by using some hand painting. No one ever can
figure out how you created these wonderful fabrics...All supplies included.
Each workshop is limited to 6 students.

For the workshops that are currently listed, all supplies are included in the cost
of each workshop accept the fabrics you will be dyeing or printing on. Using
muslin is recommended for learning,, but any 100% white cotton fabric can be
